This is a great game, fun and adicting. BUT, its far too short. They should remove the day cap, and let you survive as long as possible. They should open and close places to visit more frequently, and add new items to find and craft. FUN GAME! I JUST NEED MORE! MORE! MORE I TELL YOU!

Great gameplay, awesome subject and amazing atmosphere. The best game in the last few years…

I started playing this game last night and couldn’t stop thinking about it today. I finished it this evening and must say that I found it thought provoking, at times frustrating (not because of the game, but rather the very real hopeless situations), and - dare I say - entertaining. The epilogue is excellent and provides good, if sad, closure for the game. It’s nice to have a well-designed game available that doesn’t glorify war.

This game is incredibly addicting, I got this game just to see what it was like, and so far it has been stunning. This War of Mine jumps straight into a world of hardship and suffering, as you grow attached to your characters their pain will become yours. The game has a sad feeling in a time of war, as you carefully have to manage your food, supplies, and how you choose to use them. The night is nerve-wracking - especially when you know their is danger ( I made the mistake of confronting someone with a gun, which led to the death of my character.) around the corner. This War of Mine has nice graphics, and takes up hardly any space. It also has a nice balance of realism and relative casual gameplay. Pros: Nice graphics, with little needs for great preformance Lots of things to do and consider Buildings have different layouts each time you play Hours of gameplay No sign of bugs (yet) Cons: Knife is more useful than a gun… More work needed on sounds, especially on gun shots. All in all, this game was worth my money,

Never before has a game had so much meaning and passion mixed into it. This game was a home run with me even though it was repetitive. I absolutely loved the new perspective on war and this shall forever be one of my most favorite games to play. Props to everyone involved in making this and to those who are thinking about getting this game, do it. Loved the ending and every part of the journey getting there. May this game forever change your view of war and forever have a place in your heart.

The game has a great concept! It would be fun if it was not too frustrating and tedious. It is very unbalanced. You select which locations to scavange based on the info given on those locations, but the info is never true. If it says lots of food, you can take a risk and find no food whatsoever. Everything is extremely scarce to the extent that you can’t get past the first week. Combat is highly skewed in favor of the PC and it is impossible to win. The developers had a great concept in mind but they forgot that gaming is fun first. The fun element in this is overshadowed by the very harsh difficulty. Or maybe I just don’t know how to play it. For this price though, I expected something much more satisfying :(

Most of the issues I have with this game are resolved. The broken trade damaged my experience a bit for me but now with that fixed this is truly now a fantastic game along with being completely gorgeous.

Great concept, interesting characters. It’s so refreshing to see nuance and complexity in a game. I’m glad I read other reviews, I might not have given it a chance had I not. It really does give you a feeling of empathy for people stuck in a war zone, while providing compelling game play at the same time.

I’ve run into a bug/glitch where my game crashes on day 20… I’ve tried to play it over, and over again. It’s kind of frustrating, b/c my survivors are actually doing well going into winter…

This game is a ton of fun. I love the strategy involved and it’s just a really interesting concept. I’m playing the game on a 15 inch MacbookPro on Yosemite version 10.10.2, and a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7. Around day 10-15, it crashes every time I go to scavenge a location. Because there’s no option to save in the middle of the day, I lose the entire day’s progress. Then I restart the game, replay the day I lost, and 9 times out of 10 when I hit “scavenge” a new location, it crashes again. No fixes on any forums I can find (for a Mac). Like I said, it was a great game, but I’ve never even made it to the halfway point because of constant crashes.

A fun and interesting game to plan; in fact, this is the first game I purchased for Mac, but it may be the last. The game crashes every time I make it to day 18 and then try to scavenge. Very frustrating. Can I get my money back, please?

Interesting game by focusing on the civilian “collateral” damage vice “first person shooter” experience. Makes you think. Hace experienced crashes and it would be better of one could save where they are in the game vice working thorugh the entire day.

Keeps crashing at day 28… and I was really doing well… Frustrating...

It still crashes when I try to send someone to the city centre on Day 23. Please fix!

Extremely impressed with the concept and execution of this game, not only do I hope they sell a million digital copies but I hope it begins to include add-on downloads with completely new areas, new buildings, maybe even in another country. Obviously the basics of survival remain the same but their can be different depths in different environments. I feel like this brand has expanding room, possibly into a multiplayer format years down the road, seriously hope these guys keep invested in this game. I never leave reviews, I barely even see anything that catches my eye as worth buying but this has me hooked.

This game is brilliant but it keeps on crashing at random times without any reason. I am running the latest 2014 iMac with 32GB RAM and an i7 processor and the game just quits to the desktop. Please fix this!!!!

i love this game like crazy and i have the latest and newest update 1.2.5. but its still crashing when i go to scavange. PLEASE FIX THIS!

The latest update(s) don’t relieve any crashing for me. Still like the game but just cant play it past a certain point so unfortunately it’s still a virtual paperweight. I hope they continue to release updates because I would still love to play it through
